Travel the World via Food to Portugal with Sarah
Fresh seafood for every meal….need I say more? I am a huge fan of seafood, especially when it’s fresh. In fact, I’m pretty sure that I ate my weight in seafood while traveling in Portugal. From octopus at the Lisbon Time Out Market, to the salted cod at a restaurant tucked away in the winding, hilly, labrynth-like streets of Lisbon, to fish soup at a little restaurant in the port of Lagos, I ate my way through Portugal. If traveling to Lisbon, check out the Time Out Market Lisbon, which houses dozens of restaurants offering various dishes, and is a foodie’s paradise. Lisbon is known for its salted cod, so be sure to order at least one dish with this Portuguese delicacy. My biggest regret of my trip to Portugal?….not packing a pair of elastic pants.
